Key moments and presentations

The program of this year’s OPTIDATA TECH 2025 conference was filled with inspiring lectures, discussions, and practical examples of technology implementations in Poland’s largest companies. Each of the two days of the event presented a different face of digital transformation – from innovations in logistics and manufacturing to visions of a future based on artificial intelligence and process automation.

Case Studies that inspired participants

Particular interest was drawn by presentations showcasing real implementations of OPTIDATA systems and partner solutions in large organizations. Participants had the opportunity to see how technology changes daily operations in practice.

Logistics in the largest convenience store chain in Europe was presented by Żabka, which demonstrated how the TMS Falcon and RFID systems support the daily work of thousands of stores and distribution centers.

ORLEN presented the transformation of its asset inventory process based on the AMS OPTIest system. The solution enables the standardization and automation of asset management within ORLEN Capital Group companies, ensuring data consistency and full process control. The AMS system, integrated with SAP, supports asset labeling and mobile inventory, as well as reporting and reconciliation of inventory differences.

Avon shared its experience in implementing the WMS Invident and YMS Sophia systems in its manufacturing facilities, showing how the sesolutions improve process flow and production efficiency.

Grupa Kęty emphasized the need to balance service quality with logistics costs – a particularly important topic in times of growing customer expectations and cost optimization pressure.

Expert debates

There were also debates that sparked imagination and reflection on the future of technology in industry.

The first one – “AI in logistics and production: Hype or the future?” – was dedicated to the role of artificial intelligence in the supply chain. Experts discussed the opportunities and risks of automating business decisions and the real benefits of integrating AI with WMS and TMS systems.

The second debate – “Don’t do this in logistics! On mistakes that hurt – without anesthetic” – attracted attention with its honesty and practical approach. The discussion focused on human, technical, and strategic errors that can cost companies hundreds of thousands of zlotys (PLN). Participants exchanged experiences and highlighted how the right approach to data, processes, and organizational change can be the key to success.
