PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
Optidata Sp. z o.o. carries out a research and development project, the aim of which is to develop innovative artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. Works include:
- Collecting satellite data from systems such as Landsat, Sentinel or WorldView.
- Development of feature extraction, classification, and regression algorithms for spectral analysis of images.
- Integration of new functions with the OptiEst SKIM system, which will allow remote assessment of the state of green areas without the need for drone raids.
TARGET GROUPS:
The project is aimed at managers and owners of large turf areas, including:
- Owners of golf courses and sports facilities;
- Public institutions responsible for urban greenery and highway areas.
EFFECTS OF THE PROJECT:
Develop a tool for early detection of threats such as soil degradation, alien species invasion or improper irrigation. The implementation of the project will contribute to the automation of green space management, reduction of operational costs and support of the objectives of the European Green Deal.
