ANWIL S.A. is a modern chemical company from Włocławek dealing in the production of nitrogen fertilizers and plastics. The company is also the only producer of polyvinyl chloride in the country. The company is part of the ORLEN Group – a Polish multi-energy concern, the largest company in Central and Eastern Europe.

ANWIL S.A. implemented the AMS OPTIest® system, which is used for the efficient conduct of property tagging, record keeping, reporting and, above all, inventory processes. AMS OPTIest® was integrated with SAP software, thus creating a one-way data exchange interface.

AMS OPTIest® is a dedicated IT system for recording fixed assets and equipment. It enables property marking with both 1D / 2D codes and RFID tags. The software works with data collectors as well as thermal transfer printers intended for inventory and mobile handling of accounting processes. It is worth noting that the mobile version of the AMS OPTIest® application automates and speeds up the physical inventory, while making this process flawless. OPTIDATA, as part of the project carried out in the Włocławek-based company, performed work related to the first marking of over 30 thousand. property objects. For this purpose, both polyethylene labels secured with a cover-type protective foil and stainless steel nameplates with the laser method 1D code in Code 128 symbolism were used.

The automatic identification devices provided by us have the ATEX certificate, which defines the conditions necessary to be met when working in plants where there is a risk of explosion. Comprehensive implementation of the AMS OPTIest® system allowed ANWIL S.A. effectively digitize areas related to records and inventory of assets. Thanks to the technologies used, the company has automated a physical inventory, which in the future will enable it to save 80% of time compared to the traditional method.

Benefits of implementing the AMS OPTIest® system:

  • Reliable reports, both historical and current;
  • Permanent marking of assets allowing for unambiguous identification;
  • Acceleration of the inventory process of fixed assets and equipment;
  • Automatic inventory settlement thanks to the quick comparison of the inventory data with the inventory data.
